Airline Review – Fiji Airways

10 out of 10. Had fantastic blankets!!!

Thanks you to Anita for her in-depth knowledge of the different Fijian resorts and especially the special deals that she got for us and the kids.

Trip Highlights

Snorkelling and kayaking on Mana Island was amazing.

Visiting Suva, and especially Suva market

Trekking to a waterfall.

Foodie Experience:

We were disappointed by the Resort style food at most of the hotels in Fiji. It was very “Western”.

However, we did have a couple of excellent Indian and Fijian dishes (that seemed authentically prepared) at First Landing Resort (read Ariana’s complete resort review here).

Overall Impressions:

This is a place where you can be transported to a luxury paradise and forget the cares of the world.

For mid range independent travellers it is harder to get out and experience the country.

TRAVEL FIJI

Ariana and her family stayed at a selection of resorts in Fiji – including First Landing Resort at Vuda Point, Mana Island Resort in the Mamanuca Islands, The Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, The Warwick Fiji Resort on the Coral Coast, and the Doubletree Resort on Sonaisali Island near Nadi.

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL

Peak season in Fiji is from May-September.  October-March is their wet season, which is hot and humid but not actually that wet.
